Our vision.
A Kairos Moment.

A Kairos Moment is defined as a time when conditions are right for the accomplishment of a critical action. We all have a time in our life that can be labeled a Kairos Moment: for most Christians this was the time when they accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. For unbelievers, a Kairos Moment can be when a life changing decision has to be made. However, The Kairos Moment happened close to 2000 years ago when Jesus made the decision to lay down His life for us. Throughout the Old Testament, Jewish people were looking for the coming Messiah who would save them from the oppression of this world. Jesus came into the world to save everyone. In Luke 22:42, we see Jesus praying as He prepares to go to the cross. In a short time, Jesus would be falsely accused, stand trial before a corrupt court, and be led to the cross. Jesus was hung on the cross and tortured for hours. Any of these moments could be considered a Kairos Moment because critical actions were happening. However, The Kairos Moment is recorded in John 19:30 with Jesus’s last word “It is finished.”
